Hello everyone, I haven’t posted on my blog for a while but I’ve got another recipe to share with you all, a baking recipe to be exact, for a mandarin loaf cake which I baked earlier today.

Hello everyone, I haven’t posted on my blog for a while but I’ve got another recipe to share with you all, a baking recipe to be exact, for a mandarin loaf cake which I baked earlier today.
I’m back with another recipe today, this time some plum cakes topped with pink icing, marshmallows, chocolate curls and icing sugar.
We had some strawberries that needed using up so I decided to bake some strawberry cakes, I thought strawberries and clotted cream would be a great combo for this time of year, especially since it was very nearly the start of summer when I baked these last week.
One of the goals on my list for this month is to bake something so today I made some lemon drizzle cakes and I thought I’d share my recipe on here of how I made them.
It’s been a while since I’ve done any baking but one of my goals this month was to get baking again (bake a cake is what I actually put in my journal) so here I am with another recipe for cakes, rainbow cakes to be exact.
So for my birthday last month mum made me a cake using various food items (I’ve added a photo of that at the bottom of this post) then I thought I’d have a go at making a cake for her birthday this month which is what I did here… I decided to get creative with custard for this one (along with adding a couple of other toppings) and I thought I’d share the recipe for it on my blog, so here it is, a recipe for a custard covered birthday cake.
One of my passions is baking and a couple of months ago I got this idea of let’s do Bakemas on my blog and YouTube channel during December – post a video of baking then share the recipe on my blog… I’m still not sure how many I’m actually going to do but here we are with the first one! If you haven’t already go and check out the video for this bake on my YouTube channel which I posted yesterday Bakemas – Chocolate Icing Covered Christmas Shortbread.
I thought this would be a suitably themed autumn bake – a recipe for apple and cinnamon cakes! 3 mini apple & cinnamon loaf cakes plus 5 small apple cakes.
A summery bake from me today that I baked last week, nectarine shortbread topped with glazed icing and pieces of freeze dried raspberry.
Since it’s World Baking Day I thought today would be the perfect time to share the recipe for these banana cake squares I baked last week.
We’ve been growing our own rhubarb for a while now so as it was due to be picked (for the first time this year!) I thought I’d bake some cakes with it.
Welcome to the first Blogmas post on this blog, I’m starting this a little bit late (and not actually going to be blogging every day) but between now and the 24th expect to see several Christmas themed posts on my blog. I decided I still wanted to join in with Blogmas in some small way, so Blogmas for me this year is going to be about posting Christmas content without putting the pressure on myself to post every day like I did with Blogtober, especially since that was only a month or so ago. That was fun but very hard work and I didn’t want to commit to something like that again so soon, but I do love Christmas and blogging so here goes… Christmas shortbread!
