I recently bought a few new artificial plants from Sainsbury’s to add to my room, so I thought I’d put a blog post together and share with you all the artificial plants and flowers that I’ve got in my room now.Continue reading
Most of the decorations in my room are the same ones as last year but some of them have been put in different places, one notable difference as well is the lack of tinsel on my Christmas tree (I know! No tinsel??) I decided to decorate it a bit differently this year.Continue reading
I did do a post similar to this on an old blog of mine but I always like seeing these sorts of posts on other blogs (I think they’re great for book/DVD buying inspo!) so I’ve been wanting to do an updated version for this blog, there’s definitely been quite a lot of changes on there since the last post I did – I’m really running out of space for new books and DVDs on there now.
I bought a few things when I went to Primark in the week so I thought I may as well do another haul.
Putting little Easter chickens around the home at Easter has been a family tradition of ours for as long as I can remember, over the years we’ve added a few new ones into the mix and more recently I bought these lovely pastel coloured chickens. You can also see them in my post here: TV shows I’ve been watching recently.
For me one of the best things about Christmas is the decorations, and today’s post is going to be all about Christmas trees and decorations that are in my room and around the house.
These are some of the things I’ve bought over the past few weeks, as it turns out the things I’ve included in this haul are either homeware or stationery related so if you like homeware and stationery, then you’ve come to the right post.
This is the first year in a long time that I’ve got any Halloween decorations (except for a pumpkin that I carved the other year) but I’ve seen several other people (bloggers and people who post on YouTube) posting about Halloween decorations which gave me a bit of Halloween decoration envy to be honest so I thought I’d do a mini Halloween decoration area in my room.
If you haven’t already guessed by my sudden increase in blog posts on here over the past week, I’ve decided to take part in Blogtober. I didn’t want to say anything until now in case I got to day 3 and stopped, but here we are – day 5 and today I’m totally winging it. The posts on previous days were more planned out but today I’ve done the photos and writing all in the same day.
Generally speaking the furniture in my room is a bit mix and match, it’s not all one sort or anything but that’s how I like it. I’ve had the dark wood furniture for as long as I can remember, the light wood pieces are more recent additions. I have thought about renewing it and going for something more matching but for me I like this and while I still like it I don’t really want to change it. I actually bought all the light wood pieces around the same time from Argos.
Firstly I just want to say hello and welcome to my new blog! After taking some time out from blogging over the past year or so, I’m back and I’ve got a bunch of ideas for posts that I’m going to start sharing on here over the next few weeks.
This first post is going to be all about – rose gold and pink! I was originally going to do a July favourites post but then I noticed a good proportion of what was on my list was basically rose gold or pink so I thought let’s just do a post focusing on that. I’ve really got into the whole rose gold/copper trend recently and I love the colour pink too, so here are some of my favourite accessories right now (a lipstick and a nail polish has ended up as part of the post too).
