Hello! Since we’re coming to the end of spring I thought I would share a post full of photos of plants and wildlife from in and around the garden over the past few months.

A mixture of pink flowers including the Diosma (bottom right) and (I’m pretty sure) a Rhododendron on the top right.

There’s a real mixture of flowers here – daisies, purple bellflower (it seeds itself all around the edge of the house and flower beds this end of the garden, it’s so lovely!) Then there’s the Scabiosa flowers in the background of this one too.

It’s always great to see tulips pop up in the garden in spring. I wanted to get some photos with the blue sky in the background here when I took a photo of these Geum flowers on the right.

They might have taken a while (up until this year it had just had a lot of green leaves) but finally this spring the Iris bloomed!

I’m pretty sure that’s a greenfinch on the left, visiting the conifer tree last week, we don’t usually get them here so it was great to see this one. The Blue Tit’s have been a regular visitor in the garden this spring and the Goldfinches popped into the tree just across from our garden the other week!

It wouldn’t be a spring post without blossom and daffodils would it?! Then there’s the Angelonia flowers on the top left and Clematis on the top right.

We also finally got back to a garden centre last month, we hadn’t been to one since 2019!! I picked up a pack of these lovely Argyranthemum plants from Jack’s Patch which I’ve planted in pots and flower beds around the garden.
Check out my post from February – Going Towards Spring & A Blog Update
Now I’m off back out in the garden for a few minutes before it gets dark…
