I haven’t posted anything garden related on here since spring so I thought it was about time I did a garden post for autumn. The leaves are changing colour but there are still plenty of flowers around in the garden.
The plants in the flower bed I created earlier in the year are still doing really well – I love the pink flower on this one. If you want to look back at the blog post from earlier this year when I made the flower bed you can find it here – Spring In The Garden Part Two & New Plants.
I went outside and took a few photos after it had been raining the other day including one of this rose.
This fuchsia has been great this year – so many flowers!
The photo on the left was technically taken in the summer (back in August) but I thought I would include it since it’s still flowering now.
The wood pigeons have continued nesting in the conifer tree (in fact they are back on the nest again at the moment!) this is one of the blackbirds who comes to visit as well.
I thought I’d get some close-up photos of the autumn leaves in the dark with my selfie light then saw an insect on one of the leaves! I did do a post full of plants/flowers in the garden in the dark last year Autumn: The Garden In The Dark if you want to check that out.
The plant on the left is another one that’s covered in berries (same variety of plant but a different one to the one in the photo at the start of this post) this one seems to have grown into a bit of a heart shape too which is cute. The centre photo has the flower bed in it that I was referring to before and the photo on the right is of the side garden (let’s ignore any weeds).
What’s your favourite thing about autumn in the garden?
