It’s been over a month since I last posted anything on here but today I am back with another garden related blog post… this time full of flowers that are (or have been) flowering around the garden for spring (along with a few wildlife photos as well).

I’ve probably said this many times on here now but I always love this time of year in the garden when everything starts to blossom and bloom after winter.

Does anyone know what the wildflower is in the top right photo? We seem to have had a lot of them appear in the flowerbeds and lawn over the past few weeks. And yes that is me you can see reflected in the blue ball!

As you can see, the camellia has had a lot of flowers on it this year, it’s so lovely.

The birds have started their nesting season again, we have a blackbird family nesting in the bush on our patio and a wood pigeon in the conifer tree. The blue tit’s have been hanging around a lot as well and I think some sparrows might be nesting nearby too. Can’t wait to see their feathered offspring!

My first thought when I looked at the photo of the bee on the mushroom onrament was – I wonder if that’s what it would look like if a bee landed on The Moon? The smaller photo in the middle is of some moss on our roof.

Anyone else think the tulip looks a little bit like a poppy when it’s open?
I hope you’re all having a lovely Easter (or as lovely as it can be right now) stay safe everyone.

Thanks Anika! x
So lovely! I’m always a little envious when I see photos from spring in Europe, your spring season comes so much sooner than it does in Canada! I know this post is nearly a month old now, but we’re only just getting daffodils! Tulips are coming soon (not my mum’s – they were eaten by a deer, haha!).
Thanks for sharing!
