I decided to give the Snow Chalet a bit of a make over in my town on The Sims Freeplay yesterday and here’s a tour of the design I ended up with, most houses I make usually end up square but because of the design of the lot on this one I decided to make it a rectangular shape instead.

So the Snow Chalet was a prize from completing the Snow Problem Quest which I won some time ago, I love the snow on this lot, though I have actually used the weather machine so the snow is just laying rather than it snowing all the time there.

Another favourite of mine from this one is the wooden exterior (particularly on the Snow Chalet building itself). I thought I’d add a small patio area out the back as well and I put some garden screens at the end.

I don’t really know why I put two rugs in a line like that? I thought it looked kinda cool though and it gave that area more of a feature.

Now onto the upstairs…

I love the diagonal window next to the stairs on this one, there’s one of these in one of the bedrooms as well.

Recently I got The Sims 4 and I have started learning how to build houses on that so I may share some of those either on here or on my YouTube channel in the future.
I had a lot of fun building this one, what do you think?

I bloody love Sims interiors! I haven’t played The Sims in SO long cos my laptop just won’t hold the games anymore, it’s far too old and the games run far too slow and it’s kinda not worth it because the game freezes every 30 seconds. I am seriously tempted to buy a laptop specifically for The Sims haha! I could spend literally hours making houses x
It was hard work getting it on mine, I had to sort out Windows Updates first to get it to install properly, it took me nearly all day! It’s so much fun. x
I’ve never actually played Sims, but I can see how addictive this game could be
It’s great to play, spent a few hours on The Sims 4 last night building a house & creating a Sim to go in it. x
Oooh I haven’t played on the Sims in years! This looks so fun and I love the design of the chalet! 🙂 x
It definitely is a lot of fun, thanks Laura. x
