This house features items from the recent Grand Garages Live Event, once again there were some brilliant items in this event. The event has actually finished now but I thought I’d share with you how I’ve incorporated some of the items into one of my houses (which I edited to make room for the garage).

There’s only two sets of items I didn’t manage to get in this event, the roof and the wider garage door set which I was okay with because it’s the decorative items that I really wanted. Love the style of the cabinets too as well as the brick style walls.

I haven’t managed to complete the quest to be able to put cars in the garage/inside the house lots yet though because it’s over 7 million Simoleons to start and I just don’t have that many Simoleons right now.

The garden has quite a big patio area with a swimming pool, planters and a seating area. This is actually my all-time favourite patio paving.

The gardener in me loves that we got a lawn mower in this event and that the Sims can actually use it.

They also have a pool table! A ping pong table also came in this set but there wasn’t room for that in this house, I’ll put it in one of the other houses.

Another photo of some of the rooms, have you noticed the Teacup pig over by the doorway into the kitchen? Yep the Sims in this house have a pet Teacup pig!

… And this is what the outside of the house looks like from the front of the house.
I did actually post a The Sims Freeplay building tour video on my YouTube channel recently, I even did a voice-over, except the sound got lost when I uploaded it so the voice-over disappeared! I was gutted!! If you want to watch a silent building tour though, check it out here – The Sims Freeplay Building Tour. Here’s a few photos from that building (I’m calling this one a building rather than a house because it’s more of a shop/spa/restaurant type building).

What do you guys think of the new houses with garages? I for one love them, I think they’re such a great addition to Sims houses.
