Trip To Plymouth & A Primark Haul

It’s been a while since I’ve walked around Plymouth, in recent times (I mean the past 10 years or so) I’ve gone shopping there but haven’t really been anywhere else around there, it’s a brilliant city to explore though.

Plymouth, view across the water

So on Thursday (the 10th – a couple of weeks ago) me and my dad went to Plymouth by train, when we got there we walked into the town and I got a sausage roll from Greggs (I’d been up since half 7!) then we started walking up towards Plymouth Hoe, the views and scenery up there is wonderful – I’d forgotten just how brilliant it is.

Then we walked to the Barbican and back to the town where I went to Primark, seriously if you haven’t been there, Plymouth Primark is great, especially for homeware. We went in on the lower ground floor where that was and wow, there was so much lovely stuff. I ended up going off up to the next floor to look at clothing then back to homeware because I couldn’t decide straight away what I wanted to get. They had a great selection of stationery there too.

In the end I got these cute Disney pin badges, I love the Mickey and Minnie Mouse ones the most I think, I’m probably going to put them on my denim jacket.

Also I got this cap, I’ve wanted one like this to wear when gardening so I can put my ponytail through the gap when I wear my hair up. I’ve started wearing it when I go out though, I’ve worn it a couple of times now.

The top I’m wearing here is by Tu at Sainsbury’s.

Another thing I bought was this cute mirror (one of the first things I saw when I got to the store, though I’d already seen it on their website). It’s a gold colour with a Minnie Mouse bow print at the top of it. How lovely is it! It’s now hanging on my wall next to my calendar.

We got a quick McDonald’s for lunch (their strawberry lemonade is lovely – I’ve actually had another one since) before coming back home on the train. We only spent a few hours there but it was a lovely trip out.

I’m heading to Plymouth at the end of April and will definitely check out the lighthouse at Plymouth Hoe and see what goodies I can pick up in the town centre. I love that Minnie Mouse mirror you picked up.
